As we welcome you back to our office we wanted to send out an update. We have been thinking about our dental family and hope that you are healthy and safe. We want to reassure you that our mission is to provide excellent and safe treatment in a friendly, relaxed environment. Our office is following the most recent infection control recommendations from the CDC and our professional organizations. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the severity of the situation, we have made changes to ensure the safety of our patients and dental team. The office may appear different, but our commitment to you remains the same. We would like to share some of the changes and check-in procedures you will see when you visit our office next time:
We are allowing more time between appointments to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean fewer options for scheduling appointments. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Clear barriers will be installed at our front desk. All of our treatment areas are in separate, individual rooms. We have removed hard-to-disinfect items from the waiting room to make it easier to clean frequently during the day.
Upon arrival, please text us at email@example.com (instead of putting in a phone number) or call (231) 845-8989 from the parking lot with the patient’s name, make, model, and color of your vehicle. Our admin team will confirm that they have you signed in and text or call you back when we are ready for you to come in for your appointment.
A team member will meet you at the front door to take the patient’s temperature. A patient with a temperature above 100.3 will be asked to reschedule their appointment. You will also be asked some screening questions.
Hand sanitizer is available for you to use when you enter the office.
Only patients and if necessary one accompanying adult (caregiver or family member) should enter the office. The patient and accompanying adult must wear a face covering while in the office. Siblings, grandparents, friends, etc. should remain in the vehicle.
We apologize for any inconvenience that these temporary changes may cause. Thank you for being part of our patient family and for being understanding as we do our part to help minimize the impact of Covid-19 in our community. Please call our office at (231) 845-8989 or visit our website at www.Ludingtondentistry.com if you have any questions or to make an appointment.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
